Hit the recharge button and head into Autumn with Yoga Nidra and Halotherapy. After a few minutes of stretching in the salty air, with myriad benefits for the skin and respiratory system, you'll lie down for savasana (mats and blankets provided) and Angela will be your guide for Yoga Nidra, or "yogic sleep."
This meditation is meant to induce a powerful hypnagogic state, just on the threshold of sleep, where our senses are drawn inward and we dream while awake. The mind can deeply relax, physical and emotional tension can be released, and the body is flooded with hormones that can reduce pain and inflammation.
Most importantly, we no longer let the intellectual mind dictate how we should live. Yoga nidra leads us to our sankalpa, or our true, heartfelt desire, and gives us powerful insight into how to manifest this desire. After the meditation, we'll have time for silence and sharing, all while taking in the benefits of halotherapy.
